2nd Fabric of Life sketch, hi there. This was one of those times I had no idea what I was even doing when I started and it slowly became this. My favorite thing is the colors. Also there’s an error in this and it’s tooooo late to fix it :,(

Continuing tumblr spam of artzors. A little cartoony thing, less artsy/fartsy.

I really like the gauzy orange curtains.

Quote 16 Aug 11,884 notes
I don’t like this expression ‘First World problems.’ It is false and it is condescending. Yes, Nigerians struggle with floods or infant mortality. But these same Nigerians also deal with mundane and seemingly luxurious hassles. Connectivity issues on your BlackBerry, cost of car repair, how to sync your iPad, what brand of noodles to buy: Third World problems. All the silly stuff of life doesn’t disappear just because you’re black and live in a poorer country. People in the richer nations need a more robust sense of the lives being lived in the darker nations. Here’s a First World problem: the inability to see that others are as fully complex and as keen on technology and pleasure as you are.

So glad this sentiment has been expressed. I can’t help but roll my eyes whenever someone says this or I see it on social networking sites. To me it usually reeks of self-satisfaction when it’s likely this is as deep as the person saying it usually goes into the complexities of other peoples.
